holiday toadstools~ free pattern!
Have you seen these cute little mushrooms, Cathy designed? I fell in love with them when I saw them on her flickr page months ago, and now they are in the cutest book Fa la la la Felt, by Lark books as an ornament pattern.
Amanda Carestio the Author and editorial assistant at Lark emailed me with the pattern since she was my partner for the place mat swap last summer, and thought I would enjoy making them. She also mentioned that I can pass them along to anyone else that would like them since Lark books is giving the holiday toadstools pattern for free. Either you can email me (just leave a comment with your email address), and I can email you one or feel free to use the link to be able to download it yourself.
There are many more fun, and adorable projects in Fa la la la Felt, you can purchase as an ebook for only $14.95. The books will be coming out in August. I have the cute little Christmas trees on my list for sure, and of course love how Cathy made them in red and aqua and to top it off they have cute little mushrooms on them! Can't get any better than that!! :)
Also, make sure to stop on over to Heather blog, as she is having wonderful Christmas giveaway of some fabrics, and some jewelry from Leigh's etsy shop!

12 Blogs of Christmas Giveaway!
SocialStudiesSoubrette said,"I am following your super cute blog." I'm so glad that following my blog has made someone a winner!! YEAH!!
The Original Scrapbox Gives Back with the 12 Blogs of Christmas December 4-11, 2009 GRAND PRIZE WINNER announced December 14, 2009!
I'm not a scrapbooker, but I can see the genius of this table for quilting and sewing too! I hope that you take the time to check out the products featured, and enter yourself in the drawing for a EZ View Desktop! I will select a winner December 12, and that winner will be entered to win a desk too (That drawing will be held on December 14 at Rachelle's Writing Spot)!
These are two separate items. The desktop is not a desk, it is designed to sit on a table or desktop and the drawers can be pulled open from either end. Click here to see more pictures and details of the EZ View Desktop. One of the newest products at The Original Scrapbox is this desk! It is designed with a clear, glass-like top and measures 50 x 25 x 31". The desktop has a good amount of work space, and 4 drawers with partitions for easy organizing - exactly what we all need :)
Here's the great part -- Your entries will help The Original Scrapbox give 2 of these desks to charity! How will The Original Scrapbox give back?
The Original Scrapbox will be tracking web traffic during the giveaway. When they reach 12, 000 hits during the giveaway they will donate a desk to the Friends of Utah County Children's Justice Center. This is a great facility working with abused children, giving them a safe and comfortable place to work through crisis.
And when they reach 25,000 hits during the giveaway they will also donate an EZ View Craft Desk to a charity nominated by you!!
To nominate a charity, please send an email to Rachelle with the name of your charitable organization. Tell Rachelle what the charity does, why these products would benefit your charity, and who to contact. Rachelle will review all nominations and The Original Scrapbox Giving Board will select a recipient.

week-end stitching
I enjoyed a little week-end stitching and started a new project for Christmas. I'm planning on making this into a little mini quilt to hang on the wall; I have this one and a few others to do from Annie's Christmas Cute set. I also ordered a couple other sets that I can't wait to get started on. I love how you get a whole set of patterns for one really reasonable price. So many possibilities that you can do many projects with!

all things girly!
I am so excited that I received the cutest little hand stitched piece from Heather yesterday!! It is sooo cute. Heather also sent some cute fabric designed by my sister in law, Tasha. It was so thoughtful of Heather to go out of her way to buy this adorable fabric just for me! THANKS, I love it all!! :)
The adorable hoop already has a new home in my girls room! I thought I'd also take a few additional pictures of a couple other new additions in their room as well. They just love all the new decorating, and I still have a little left to do. :)
The cutest knitted clothes and line I had made!
Our newest vintage irmi lamp.
Hope everyone is have a splendid day!!

ready to start
Second, for the Pillow Talk Swap, I have the lovely Flea Market Fancy, picked out. Not sure if I'll end up using a little of everything. But I think my partner will love what I have in mind. :)
And third, I have a huge mound of collars from all the Munki Munki jammies that will be perfect for a fun and bright string quilt for the Munki Munki Quilt Along. I can't wait to try out Ashely's lovely tutorial. It has been on my list for quite some time. I think the improv blocks I made last month will make nicely into a wall hanging for my sewing room.
These will be such fun projects!! Not to get to work!
