This week-end I got the Mysteries and the Market quilt all done. :) I love the way it turned out, and think the colors and fabrics are so a lovely together!! Quilting just gets funner and funner, and can't wait to do many more quilts!! Next, is a coin quilt I'm working on, and some lap quilts for my boys.
The quilt measures approx. 42 X 54, a perfect size for my 7 year old!
You did a great job, so very pretty. Way to go.

ReplyDeleteI Love this quilt! It turned out just perfect!
ReplyDeleteOh, and Kerri, I meant to ask earlier -- is Mysteries at the Market the name of a pattern you followed, or did you name it that? And either way, is there a story behind the name?
ReplyDeleteKarin,
ReplyDeleteI named it mysteries at the market since I mainly used Heather Ross's, Lightening bugs and other Mysteries fabrics and Denyse Schmidts Flea Market Fancy fabrics. I thought it would be fun to include a word from both those fabric lines. I hope it isn't too silly of a name. :)
The blocks are actually called Wonky stars or Maverick stars.
OMG... your quilts are just gorgeous... how on earth do you find time to quilt with 6 kids?? Keep up the fantastic work and thanks for a brilliant blog... Lx
