  3. Oh my Gosh, I am so happy to see them wearing their hats!!!
Did you like your washcloth & bath gel? That is for you. Before I sent flowers for the girls, but thought that mom needed something too. :o)
My husband took me to the grocery store yesterday, and I had to find a place to sit down, so much I hurt... so I realized that I wouldn't be able to go to the sewing expo, the Puyallup Fairgrounds are huge, too much for me to handle at the moment...
For sure we will have to plan for next year, it will be fun!!
    Have a wonderful week!

  25. oh, it looks so nice! somehow i had it in my mind that you were somewhat new to quilting - did you say something like that back in Jan? or perhaps you just said you were new to blogging? or who knows what my muddled brain is "remembering"... anyway, it certainly looks like you've been doing this for ages!

(and I LOVE the pulls on the dresser too)

  26. Karin,

I feel I'm still very new to quilting. This one was my 4th quilt to stipple, and my 3rd of really piecing together (other than just plain patchwork squares). Oh, I guess you could also add the little doll quilt I pieced and stippled to that, so that would add one more. :)

It has been so much fun, and look forward to many, many more quilts!

  28. I was just in the process of finding material for making my very own whirly giggle when I came accross your beautiful quilt, did you buy a pattern for this or make it up yourself? I'm a bit of a novice so would love some advice. Thanks!
