project improv~ a wip

i now have all the squares pieced, but still need to add the white sashing to most of them. after that, it is just sewing the sqaure together, and then quilting it. i'm starting to see this come together. :)

i love the scrappiness of this one.

hope everyone has a cheerful week-end!

  20. So lovely. It took me a while to noticed the 5 that already had the white sashing -- maybe because they're toward the top/back? -- but WOW, i think it'll look even more stunning with the white sashing, because then each square will pop out.

I can't remember what you said you'd be doing with this one. I can imagine if it ends up on/near a little girl's bed that she would spend countless hours of her life just discovering all the little pictures, and following the various patterns and breaks in patterns (like those wonderful splashes of olive green). Or at least, that's what *I* would've done if that quilt had bedecked *MY* childhood bed! : ) So so wonderful!!!
