beach stitching

These last several days I've enjoyed a lovely time at a girls retreat on the Oregon Coast.  It has been full of fun, laughter, and relaxing!  I have also squeezed in some stitching on the beach.  It can't get much better than that!


I've been working on my jewel star quilt.  



 I'm getting close to done with stitching them all together!  :)

As tradition we did some fun beach photos, and this year the colors were red, white and aqua!   :)

      Thanks, Becky! The sewing box is from Cath Kidston. I bought it a couple years ago. It is a favorite. :)

    Kerri looks like y'all had a wonderful time. The is a lot of fun, but our beaches are muddy looking and you can not see your feet. Thanks for sharing your pictures are GREAT.

    What a lovely trip! We just got home from the Oregon Coast last night after a week in Seaside. The weather was not great until the very last day so we were a little sad. I did work on hexies alllll day on the ride home though so I'm happy about that! Your beach pics are wonderful and what a great time with friends!
