a fairytale halloween!

this halloween was such a fun one for me as i had done quite the pre-planning. i have felt a little in a rush with my kiddos growing so fast to get in some of those custie ideas that have been in my head. this year i did a fairytale theme, little red riding hood and a little wolfie, and the wizard of oz. with six kiddos i had options. :)

we enjoyed a school hay day, and an ice skating party during the week, that they actually won the contest!! that was fun, as we'd never done a contest before. then on sunday we spent some time with family and of course did a little trick or treating.

  3. Oh Kerri they are so adorable! You'd think with only one baby I could get my act together and make her costume but I cheated and bought it. Hopefully next year I can whip up some as cute as these!

  5. the costumes turned out darling! how fun to have just the right ages and boys/girls for the right costumes. it worked perfectly!

for ava i had actually found a Dorothy costume at target just by chance, brought it home and it was too small for her. by then it was halloween day and decided to just put the princess costume on her since we weren't going anywhere anyway...i figured oh, well, who cares if it's a little big. i put the shirt on underneath so she wouldn't be cold when we went out, and it filled it out just enough that it fit her better! i was pleasantly surprised with how it worked out and i thought she was just too cute! thank you so much for her last 2 halloweens of adorableness! ;)

i've had you on my mind this week......hope all the packing is going well. :)
