double hourglass~ all quilted!


Saturday was quite the gloomy, drizzly, Seattle day; so quilting the oh, so cheery double hourglass quilt was the perfect match, to add a little sunshine into my day. Today, I'm planning on finishing it up with the binding, so it can be sent to my swap partner soon! Just debating on going with the Katie jump rope basket weave, in either aqua or green??


Hope everyone has a bright and sunny week! I hope I do, especially with it being spring break. :)

    It is absolutely beautiful. I think I would choose the green binding.

    It's ROCKtastic! that's my new word. I saw it on some spray gel and thought....that's the word I've been looking for.

    It looks so GOOD!!! I wish that I was your swap partner. I'm not even in the swap but just saying I LOVE it and would love to have it!:) I didn't realize you lived in Seattle. I lived in Tacoma for some years and Gig Harbor too. I LOVE the great northwest!!:) Have a great day.

    so adorable!! your swap partner is very lucky to get such a cute baby quilt. my vote is for aqua blue... count me in on the next swap as well. I too have never done one.

    I'll make sure to do a post next time around with the doll quilt swap. It is such a fun swap!! This one ends in May, so hopefully they'll have another soon after that. :)
