Quilty Fun Sew Along and Blog Tour: Week 9 ~ Quarter Square Triangles

Hello, and welcome to my blog!   I'm so glad you've stopped by for the Quilty Fun Sew Along and Blog Tour!  Did you have fun last week making the adorable Trees like Jesse's?  Hers turned out super cute!!  For week 9 we are stitching together Quarter Square Triangles.   You can find the PDF cutting instructions here.

Lets open our Quilty Fun book and turn to page 86.  First I started out making the half square triangles.

Now we make them into the quarter square triangles.  Trim them up and then you'll be done.  :)

Don't you just love how scrappy they are!?!

I think I may need to make a sewing machine cover in the near future from this lovely pattern in Lori's book!

Now for the giveaway!  Fat Quarter Shop is giving away 2 lovely Riley Blake Gingham Rolie Polies!  I LOVE gingham, and all these colors are like walking into a candy shop as you just drool looking at them!!  I have this Rolie Polie in my stash and can't wait for that prefect project to come along so I can use it.  :)

Fat Quarter Shop is also giving away 1 Alphabitties!    They are the perfect tool to keep your project nice and organized.  Not only are they functional but the are so sweet with the little scallop borders!

For a chance to win all you have to do is add your quarter square triangles into the Flickr group.   The winners will be chosen and announced on the Jolly Jabber Blog on the 20th of January.

Hope you are having a magical Monday!

Hugs,

    1. Mine did come out a little larger (I don't remember exactly how much larger), but as in the book it mentions to trim them down to the desired size. Maybe they just needs to be trimmed down.
