labor day stitching

For Labor Day week-end we did a little family camping trip. There were a total of 20 of us with 12 of those being kiddos. We had LOTS of fun! I brought along a cute little embroidery project for me to work on.


It is one I pinned last week from Flickr that is from a vintage pattern.   Jamie even gave the link to the vintage embroidery patterns here.


Isn't she such an adorable happy strawberry!



I'm not sure what I should make her into?  What do you think?  I need some fresh ideas.  Or would you leave her in the hoop and hang her like that?

    Oh she is ADORABLE!!! Leaving it in the hoop would be cute but, I think she would LOVE to get out and about!!! :) Maybe a Pocket on an Adorable Vintage Styled Apron or a Really Cute Farmers Market Bag so she could store all of her FRUITY friends in it.. :) I will have to check out the Pattern link.

    this is so super cute kerri! i love how you did the aqua stripe on the diagonal for the background. glad you guys had fun on the camping trip...i wish we could have gone! maybe next year. ;)
