fall online quilt festival

Last spring I took part in the online quilt festival hosted by Amy, and had so much fun seeing all the lovely quilts that were being showcased. The talent is sooo amazing, so make sure to take a few minutes to browse the fall quilt festival. We are all asked to share out favorite quilt, which is definately The Mysteries at the Market quilt. Maybe since it is all from my favorite fabrics. Heather Ross's lightening bugs, and Denyse Schmidt's flea market fancy. The wonky stars were so fun to make too, and the best part is seeing my daughter snuggled in it everyday!

My favorite block~ the recess star! I only have scraps of this fabric, and am so glad I was able to showcase it in the middle of a star!

Hope everyone is having a super spectacular week-end!

  7. Those stars just pop on that white background. I made something similar for a baby born on my husband's side of the family recently. Go to my blog and take a look. It is in one of the September 2009 posts.

  23. Wonky stars are so fun! I'm always worried that if I try it they'll look sloppy-wonky, not intentional wonky.
