This week-end I had a baby shower to go to for my sweet cousin that is having her first baby! She doesn't know what she is having so I needed to go gender neutral. Now, what fabric just calls out gender neutral? Definitely the Munki Munki, Farmers Market! I thought it was perfect. I wanted to go simple so used the Denyse Schmidt, Drunk Love style.
Me? A Mom?, did some of the cutest Munki Munki blocks using this style, so I used her blocks as inspiration to mine. I thought it turned out pretty cute! Sorry for the wrinkles, it had just came out of the dryer and we were running late. :)
The quilt is a stroller/car seat size. Approx. 26 X 26.
My signature booties and onesies!! I just can't go to a baby shower without them!! ;)
Hope you are having a magical Monday!!

adorable! I love that Farmer's Market - it's so happy. And I've been wondering what a good stroller-sized blanket is. Just a few years past that stage and I already forget!
ReplyDeleteSo so so cute! I love the mini quilt and the little baby gifts. I really need to sew more for my granddaughter.
ReplyDeletetoo cute Kerri! what a sweet gift.

I love your signature booties and onesies! They just take the gift from absolutely fabulous to completely extraordinary.
ReplyDeleteJust adorable. Where is your pattern for the little shoes from? GREAT idea for a baby shower!!
ReplyDeleteWanted to ask, what tute do you use for the booties? I don't see it in your tute list. I have one I downloaded from Stardust shoes, but I can't figure out what you used for your soles. Minkee?
ReplyDeleteI had gotten a pattern off of etsy a couple years ago for them, but changed it quite a bit. I use chenille for the inside and the soles. The pattern said to use regular fabric like the tutorials I've seen after I had started making them. I always use chenille because it is so soft for little baby feet and they fit so nicely around their feet with it too. :)
ReplyDeletei'm so behind in blog reading! These are so awesome, Kerri. The booties - oh my, oh my. Love it all. Thanks for the shout out!
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful! Would you mind if I posted a picture on my blog? I'd give credit and a link!
ReplyDeleteSo much creativity is exciting to see! Thanks for sharing and for helping others to enjoy something that can be passed down the generations!
ReplyDeleteHey Kerri!
ReplyDeleteI am dying to know... how did you make the booties? Are they something that you bought and put the fabric over? Or did you make them from scratch? (And if you did, what materials did you make them from?)
