quilt festival~ my favorite quilt!!

A quilt festival is going on over at Park City Girl, started by, Amy. There are lots of links to all the quilters involved, and lots of prizes!! Yeah!! Who doesn't love prizes, and lots of them are some yummy fabrics! :)

Amy has asked everyone to post about their favorite quilt they've made. I haven't made that many, so it wasn't too hard to decide on The Ava Coin Quilt. This one was such a fun one to make since I love all the colors, and variety of fabrics in it, and it is sooo girly!! It has special meaning since I made it for my dear friend and sister in law, Tasha, who just had her first girl after 4 wonderful boys.

Here is the fun little Ava doll quilt I made to go along with it.

Thanks Amy, for putting all the time and effort to have an online quilt festival!! :)

And I wanted to tell you that the painting on the wall in my bedroom is not vinyl. I did it with paint after seeing the vinyl wall art that I could not really afford to buy. The paint was free, already in my stash :)

I am having so much fun visiting all the quilts and quilt makers :)

  48. What a nice clean look your quilt has about it. I'm certain it will go down in the log of best loved quilts.

Whenever you can find the time I think a quilt from your children's clothes would be awesome, not to mention how many memories you can pack in to one quilt, especially since you make clothes too. :D Just remember the interfacing!
