i love how my sweet online friends are constantly motivating me by all the fabulous creations i see daily!! yesterday i was completely inspired by all the lovely photos in the savy seasons group, that unfortunately i had decided to skip this round because of so many other obligations. oh, boy am i wishing i would have just plunged right in!! well at least i can still have fun sewing up some cuties as i recently got this new shinzi katoh little red riding hood fabric in the mail. it's now one of my favorite christmas fabrics!! just trying to decide what would be the best project/projects for it. any ideas?? :)
also, after seeing my dearest friend, heather's fabulous little christmas homes i just had to play around with layouts to see which i liked best for my gnome homes!! these are all from my sweet friends from the bee imaginative group!! aren't they all so lovely!!
# 2 I think, but I like both!

ReplyDeleteI like #2 better, but they are both great!
ReplyDeleteI think I prefer #2 best too!
ReplyDeletei like 2...these blocks are adorable
ReplyDeleteI like #2 the bestest!
ReplyDeleteThe blocks are all so dear!
LOVE the gnome homes and trees you and your friends made!! I think I prefer 1, because 2 is a little "heavy" on the left side but that's just me being super picky. They are both cute as can bee!
ReplyDeleteI love lay out #1. Very cute! I love little houses but I am not very good at making them just yet. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI like #1, but you may throw out my vote after you hear my reason. The bottom right block of quilt (I call the brady house), gives a heaviness to the quilt that says "the end". I know, I know....I'm quirky that way :)They are wonderful morsels of goodness, no matter what order you choose!!
ReplyDeleteFantastic! I like # 2 better.
ReplyDeleteI vote for #1 but both are super cute!
ReplyDeleteTHANKS so much for letting me know which one you like better!! :)
ReplyDeletethe little red riding hood fabric i had found on a japanese website. i can't find it now. :(
I like layout 1 too Kerri!
ReplyDeleteSo fun to see my block!
I like layout 2 the best! I don't know why, it just looks "right" to me!
ReplyDeleteI say make a Christmas tree skirt with your fabric - yay!
#1, it is more balanced. :)
ReplyDeleteI think #2 looks more balanced weight wise....so that would be my vote. BUT they both look great! :)
ReplyDeleteI like #1. It looks great and so are the colours!
ReplyDeleteI like #2, super cute!!
ReplyDeleteI like layout #1, but really you couldn't go wrong with such a cute little village :-)
