munki string block

I finished my first official block for the Munki Munki Quilt Along last night! :) I am doing a string quilt out of mainly the pj collars, as I showed in a previous post. I'm also adding a few peek-a-boo strips of some older Munki Munki in there just for fun. Can you tell which two went in this block? It is going to be quite the bright and cheery quilt, I can tell already. I'm loving it! Anything to add brightness in my life is always great!!

The finished size is 13 1/2 inches, and to make the block, I used Ashley's fabulous tutorial. Thanks Ashely, you made it so easy and fun! :)

Hope everyone has a spooky week-end! ;)

  4. This is so cute - what a great idea too since one a month is very manageable! Maybe I'll do the same thing but a spiderweb one - those seem to take me forever!
